Thanks to all who donated food items for the pool party tickets, the staff dropped off 215 pounds of non-perishable goods to the Howard County Food Bank. Another thank you to those who have donated cell phones for Cell Phones for Soldiers and to those who dropped off school supplies for the Prepare for Success Program.

Keep food scraps & grease out of the Bay: Put oil in covered containers and then dispose in trash; scrape food scraps into trash and not down the disposal and pre-wash dishes/pan in cold water before placing in dishwasher.

Covenant Process is Complaint Driven/Garbage Cans

When a resident calls the village office to lodge a covenant complaint, the caller is kept anonymous. Once the compliant is made, the Covenant Advisor will verify if a covenant violation exists. After verification, letters are sent to the property owner requesting that the violation be corrected. The village office staff ONLY records the information on the property in violation.

If you are having trouble with your cell phone reception and your cell phone provider is Verizon, then you must contact Verizon. The village office cannot assist with individual's cell phone reception. Please call customer service at 800-922-0204.

Members and residents are encouraged to utilize other CA fitness clubs and facilities during these times. If possible, please make your residents aware of these closings.

The village office has started compiling an email list that will be used to keep residents current on what is happening within our community. The list will not be shared with any entity; its sole purpose is to keep you updated. The staff will not inundate you with email! You can unregister at any time. This is a great tool for the Board of Directors and staff to keep you updated in between newsletters.

Cell phones for Soldiers

Dorsey's Search Community Association (DSCA) is proud to announce it's participation in Cell Phones for Soldiers. We will be a Drop of Point for this charity. The purpose of this organization is to supply our oversees soldiers a way to call home which can be very expensive. Since 2004, this non-profit charity has raised almost $2 million in donations and distributed more than 500,000 prepaid calling cards to soldiers serving overseas. Please remember us when you decide to upgrade your cell phone.
